'I wanted to simplify the landscape of Mount Norah by breaking it down to a series of basic shapes and colours and limiting g the view to a small section of its distinctive silhouette.  

The minimalist painting has captured the calmness and stillness that I find when being in this special place.  I have used a limited palette to capture the feeling of Summer - the different colours of drying grasses, the dark areas of summer crops, fence lines and sheds, all under a hot sun'.
